2022 Secret Garden

This vintage of Secret Garden comes from the Cortada Alta vineyard in the Santa Lucia Highlands. The Cortada Alta vineyard is the highest planted vineyard in the AVA. With the high elevation we get freshness and depth of texture, with acidity that is unmatched in California Chardonnay. This wine displays notes of lychee, dried apricot, and dried mandarin while nostalgic hints of Nilla wafer & marshmallow round out the nose. On the palate fresh flavors of nectarine, ginger snap cookie and under ripe pineapple compliment the coconut crème and caramel flavors reminiscent of Werther’s Original Candy.
